Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 Aug 2026

NeuroSense (“we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

  • Enquiry details — your name, email address, enquiry type and the content of your message, when you use the contact form or email us.
  • Seminar registration details — your name, email address, phone number, ticket type and quantity, when you register for a seminar.
  • Information you choose to share — if you tell us about your child or a student in the course of an enquiry, that information is treated as sensitive and handled with additional care.
  • Assessment and support records — where you engage us for an educational assessment or behaviour support, we collect and hold the information needed to deliver that service, including assessment results and reports. This is health and sensitive information and is handled accordingly.

How your information reaches us

This is a static website with no database. The contact and registration forms do not submit data to a server — they open your own email application with the details filled in, and nothing is sent until you press send. As a result, information reaches us as an ordinary email and is stored in our email system.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about.
  • To administer seminar registrations and confirm payment.
  • To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to us.

We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell it.

Information about children

Enquiries frequently involve information about a child. We collect this only where a parent, caregiver or authorised person provides it, only to the extent needed to respond, and we do not disclose it to third parties without consent unless required or authorised by law.

Disclosure

We do not disclose your personal information to third parties except where you have consented, where it is required or authorised by law, or to service providers who help us operate (for example our email provider), who are bound to protect it.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then destroyed or de-identified.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set tracking cookies. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers and your IP address is visible to them as part of that request.

Accessing or correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing info@neurosense.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. There are limited circumstances under the APPs in which we may decline a request, and we will explain why if that happens.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at info@neurosense.com.au so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
